Thirty students and five members of staff set out to Les Carroz in France for Heathfield’s inaugural ski trip.
Students were split into three groups according to ability and each assigned an instructor for the week. With the sun shining and with plenty of snow for the duration it was wonderful to see the improvement everyone had made by the end of the week.
Five hours of lessons a day is quite exhausting, so après ski consisted of walks into the town as well as ice skating and ‘luge on rails’; the latter provided much screaming and laughter on the descent!
