This is a challenging time for all who are involved, with a packed schedule of examinations and precious opportunities to review revision notes for the next upcoming mock. All of which is essential experience for the public examinations that begin in May. As they say in the forces ‘train hard, fight easy’. Students in exam groups were given the option to trade in their regular Sunday lie-in and 10am Sung Mass for an 8am said Eucharist in home clothes, followed directly by breakfast and back to the books by 9am. This trial of an early service for those revising had an incredible 90% uptake, a clear demonstration of how students are making the most of every opportunity whether academic or spiritual.
