I felt very privileged to be able to have the opportunity of acting as Headmistress for the day alongside my sister. I never fully appreciated what goes on behind the scenes as I moved between lessons and got on with my day, but now I know how much time, effort, planning meetings and responsibilities, a Headmistress has to take on a daily basis. Some of the highlights of the day for me included a dodgeball game with the staff alongside teaching a Geography lesson to Form I with Mrs Rollings. I especially liked the engagement and how interesting it was to view a Geography lesson from the perspective of a teacher!
