Congratulations to all our students on achieving an outstanding set of GCSE results. The robust and rigorous procedures in place at Heathfield in assessing grades ensures that students can be justifiably proud of their results.
Each student attained, on average, a grade two points higher than their Year 11 Indicator System (Yellis) score, which is used to predict how likely they are to perform in GCSEs. This is a clear reflection of the continued hard work, dedication and adaptability of both our students and our staff.
Our carefully tailored blended and remote learning provision also helped those international girls who were either unable to return to school or remained at Heathfield throughout, due to travel restrictions, attain excellent results.
In addition, 100% of our students secured A*-B for Foundation Project Qualifications (FPQs) in Year 9 and 100% of students taking subjects a year early in Year 10 achieved Grade 9.
“For the past 18 months students have contended with lockdowns, mask rules, social distancing and so much more. I wholeheartedly congratulate all our students and staff for their indomitable work ethic and for the excellent grades they have subsequently secured ” – Sarah Wilson, Headmistress.
