Form V Geography Trip to Christchurch Bay

By 30/09/2014 No Comments

Form V worked their way through field work tasks such as: timing the frequency of waves, deciding the direction of wind, discovering the many ways that natural processes are interfered with, or not, by councils, as well as displaying the evidence on field sketches.

Lunch took place on a recurved wall that was almost buried in beach replenishment.  The 6km walk, the ferry across from Mudeford Spit to Hengistbury Head and the appreciation of the value of the beach-huts in such a desirable area all added to the girls’ experience.  Great preparation for GCSE questions in the summer!
