Their experience included living in the Sixth Form bungalow where they had a taste of ‘university life’ – cooking for themselves, managing their own time and working independently – as well as a team-building treasure hunt task in and around Covent Garden, and taking part in taster lessons in A Level subjects such as History of Art and Politics. Together they worked hard on a number of projects which required them to pitch their ideas to the ‘dragons in the den’. Their presentations, which included a range of ideas for apps which Sixth Form students could use, were informative, well-researched and well-presented. The girls were remarkable in their attitude, and their ability to overcome difficulties and personal hurdles was commendable. Well done!
