The evening was set in beautiful candle light as Joanna Lambert (Heathfield 1971 – 1977), Chair of the Fellowship Carol Service Committee welcomed the congregation. Heathfield’s Chaplain, Fr Tim, led the service with readings telling the Christmas story and Christmas Carols were sung by Heathfield choirs and the orchestra led by Director of Music Julie Dance. The congregation also enjoyed performances by Coworth Flexlands School Chamber Choir and Garden House Preparatory School Choir. The Carol Service concluded with The Fellowship prayer, a closing prayer and blessing followed by mulled wine, a hog roast and crêpes on the portico. Thanks to everyone involved in organising such a successful and well attended Carol Service which brought our community together at such a special time of year.
