The girls were challenged to look carefully, to show curiosity and ask questions, to develop skills and to behave responsibly when given greater independence. During the trip the girls took part in a number of educational, cultural and social activities which included visiting the Barcelona History Museum, Sagrada Familia Temple, Casa Milà – La Pedrera, Barcelona Cathedral, Park Güell and Torres Winery. The girls also had time to go bowling, visit a theme park and do a spot of shopping.
Form III shared their views about their Barcelona Trip:-
“I really enjoyed having our own independence and being able to have our own time to do our own thing. All the different activities were very fun and interesting.” Ella, Form III Student
“I loved staying at the hotel and meeting new people and talking Spanish.” Bota, Form III Student
“I found the architecture at the Sagrada Familia amazing, as Gaudi managed to combine the story of the birth and death of Jesus Christ with nature.” Olivia, Form III Student
“I really enjoyed the Gaudi building La Pedrera. Also the theme park (Tibidabo) was so much fun! But the best part was being all together.” Millie, Form III Student
