School Fees

Heathfield is pleased to confirm a reduction in the day fee for all year groups from September 2026 as follows:

The Governors review the fees annually and any changes, which will be communicated during the Summer term, will be effective on 1st September 2026.

The fees include tuition, all meals, class exercise books, initial print credits, Pupil Personal Accident and Dental insurance, travel insurance whilst on a School trip, the loan of generic textbooks, the majority of options in the co-curricular/activities programme and the cost of all essential A level and GCSE syllabus trips (with the exception of residential field and theatre trips). The boarding fees include all meals, boarding, laundry and linen. Exam charges are not included in the fees.

Registration fees
A £240 (including VAT) non-refundable fee is payable on registration.

The deposit is refundable less any outstanding fees owing to the school by means of a credit to the final payment when your child leaves Heathfield. The acceptance deposit will be retained, should the accepted place not be taken up.

Terms and Conditions

School fees are payable in advance by the first day of each term. A full term’s notice is required before the removal of a pupil from the School, otherwise a full term’s fees will be payable in lieu of notice.

Arrangements can also be made for payments of fees by monthly Direct Debit.

Optional Expenses

Other optional additional expenses will be at the discretion of the parents. These include items such as music lessons, specific learning tuition, English as an additional language, trips to concerts or the theatre, outdoor expeditions, ad hoc boarding nights and private daily/weekly transport.

Military and FCDO Families

Heathfield supports the Continuity of Education Allowance with a fee remission of 25% on boarding fees. This applies to boarding fees for as long as your family stays within the military.

If you work for the Diplomatic Service you will receive a 10% remission on boarding fees.

Childcare Vouchers

Childcare vouchers can be used towards the boarding component of a student’s school fees until 1 September following their 15th birthday or for any chargeable after-school activities.
