Form I had the unique and unmissable opportunity to attend Royal Ascot. With a special invitation from Ascot Racecourse, they experienced first hand the spectacle of the event from a wonderful vantage point. With our delicious picnic and picnic blankets we sat alongside the racecourse itself, in prime position to experience the pageantry of the historic Royal Procession. As King Charles and Queen Camilla drove past, we all stood and waved our Union Jacks furiously with intense excitement. One student was heard exclaiming “The King waved at ME!”
