Grace gained a Highflyer Award for her Religious Studies revision resource and Farah for her outstanding English essay where she gained full marks. Billy (UVI Form) gained a Highflyer Award from the Creative Faculty for her abstract watercolour piece. Billy showed in-depth studies of tree shapes, wood texture and growth in her work. Fernanda (Form V) received a Highflyer Award from the EFL department; Fernanda gained a grade A in her exam for the Cambridge University Certificate in Advanced English. This exam is very difficult for non-English speakers. It is mainly written by college and university students. The final Highflyers of the academic year will be awarded in the last Assembly of term.
