We are delighted to announce that Wendy Reynolds, Assistant Head (Co-curricular) has been named as Officiating Lead for England Lacrosse! This milestone appointment is a testament to Wendy’s lifelong dedication to the sport, both on and off the field.
As a player, she represented England for 14 years, earning World Cup silver (1993) and bronze medals (1997). Since retiring from playing, Wendy has transitioned to officiating, representing England as an umpire at every U19 and senior World Championship between 2003 and 2013, including officiating in two gold medal games. Her commitment to excellence has also been recognised with the World Lacrosse Emeritus Award for Women’s Officiating in 2017.
In this new role, Wendy will oversee England’s officiating workforce, manage national and international rules and committees, and support the development of the next generation of officials. Her extensive experience and passion will undoubtedly continue to leave a lasting legacy in the Lacrosse community.
