Culture Day at Heathfield was an incredible experience! The day started with prayers in Welsh, Spanish and French in Chapel and the celebrations continued in Games lessons with Country and Irish dancing. At lunchtime there was an opportunity to take part in workshops. The Ankara print scrunchie making activity was so much fun, and the Bhangra dancing was energetic and great fun. Tasting delicious food from around the globe was a highlight, and seeing everyone in their beautiful cultural dress was truly amazing. It was a fantastic opportunity to learn about different cultures. We hope the success of this Culture Day will make it a lasting Heathfield tradition.
