Having played the initial group matches, the pairs were split into further groups so that all the group winners were now competing against each other bidding to be crowned Champions. The pairs were Tilly (Form IV) and her brother; Honor (Form IV) and her cousin; Georgie (Form III) and her father and finally last year’s winners Emmy (Form III) and her father. It was all very tight with every match being won 3-2. Everything came down to the final game between Tilly’s and Emmy’s families, and in the end Emmy and her father retained their title for the second consecutive year.
Well done to everyone who competed; it was great to see so many girls playing and there was a wonderful atmosphere. Here’s to more next year!
